World’s most vulnerable reach their potential. ‘Schools,’ trained teachers and employment opportunities exist. Basic infrastructure exists. Women and girls / disabled people able to attend school, facilities available to support this. Trained teachers support innovative and child-centred education techniques. Teaching and the value of learning are respected. WLE identifies countries and areas where it is possible to work and can add most value. WLE identigies local partners to deliver appropriate programmes. WLE engages professional talent to support and drive forward our Theory of Change. A level of stability in country, WLE has a mandate to work in-country. Some appreciation in-country of the importance of diversity / willingness to change. Development organisations with skill sharing and capacity building interventions are welcomed and understood. There is a link between the education system and employment opportunities. Underrepresented groups are able to benefit from international development (women, LGBT), minority communities, disabled people, indigenous people). WLE is a learning organisation and seeks to learn from partnerships with other development organisations in country and internationally. WLE campaigns for change internationally and builds a trusted ‘thought leader’ position to become a go-to organisation.
